Dr. Amir Ben Shalom, Head of exhibits development at Bloomfield Science Museum, approached me about three month ago to create a Hanukkah menorah (Hanukkiah) which is using the propriety technology developed in the museum. This technology is based on color pigments which are sensitive to light wave at a very specific length - 404 nanometres (near UV). These pigments can be embedded in different substrates and application from resins such as epoxy to papers coated with it, each form of appliiance will react differently to the presence of UV light.
